Had a virus on my computer. They came on site and fixed it right away. I am their customer for life now!

My Toshiba laptop stopped charging, and was looking for someone to fix it. I called them, and took it to them. To my amazement, they fixed and replace the charging port in just a day. Price was very affordable, and the guys are very friendly. Recommend them all the way!

I paid $40 to have an erase and run on my 8 core Mac pro. The repair guy was unable to tell me when he could provide the service which I was requesting but I was required to pay the deposit of $40. After paying the deposit and not being given a time table on how soon the work could be done I changed my mind about obtaining the service. I asked to get a refund since services had not been rendered several times through phone request to Gary and over 30 emails. The transaction took place on 9/3/13 and Cheapest Computer fix refuses to refund my money. Do not pay the deposit unless you are sure you want to do business with this company because you may get ripped off like I did.

Best computer repair shop in Columbia! My Toshiba laptop was not charging and the dc jack seemed be not functioning (the charging port). I took it to cheapest computer fix in columbia, and they took care of the issue in just two days. They replaced the dc jack, and now my laptop is functioning great. Really happy with the laptop dc jack repair service!

Talk about super service!!! Not only did they fix my computer fast but they did it like new. Everything was easy and upfront. My computer just froze, and no matter what I tried to do nothing worked, I looked all over the internet for a solution but nothing helped. These guys know exactly what to do. All of my data was saved and they took care of the Antivirus program for me and had it registered and updating for a whole year for no extra charge. One more surprising thing, I am not the cleanest person in the world, my laptop let's just say did not look like it was taken care of, but when I got it back it had a shine on it like it was polished. Like I said the laptop came back like BRAND new!!!!

My macbook pro screen cracked, and I was worried if it could be fixed. Luckily, my friend had used this computer repair shop in Columbia and recommended me them. I took it to them. They changed the screen within two days and gave me a great working mac back. Glad these guys are around

My Ipad 2 screen was cracked as my daughter dropped it. It had to be replaced but I had to have it done by the next day. I doubted if they could do it but honestly I heard so many good things about them I just had to wait and see. And to my expectations they completed the task in a more than reasonable time frame. Very highly recommended.

My sony laptop had Virus and it took control over my whole system. It only let me do what it wanted to do. I was unemployed so I had to apply for different workplaces but I was scared to put any personal Information into my computer. Gary Took my system unit and he restored all my personal information and pictures and transferred them on a safe drive and also Got rid of the virus for good. I can now use my sony laptop feely as I once was able to do before.

My toshiba laptop was not charging. The port inside the laptop was loose and had to be soldered back. They handled my computer with care and they restored it to back to working order. Great computer repair shop.

Cheapest isnt always best i assume. I saw their add online so i thought 125 to repair a cracked ipad 2 screen would be a good deal. I went to drop it off and was told there was a diagnosis fee also. 35 dollars to tell me the screen is cracked? I said no, i would take it somewhere else. He said he could waive the fee. I said i guess so. Soon there after a technician called to say it would be an additional 60 dollars to repair the ipad. I am not sure what he replaced and you dont get an itemized receipt or anything like that. They said 3 to 4 days, it took almost two weeks. The technician also forgot to leave the ipad sleeve, so i had to go back to puck it up. He forgot again, and i want able to get it prior to a scheduled trip. With in 24 hours the screen started to come unglued. After i got back i took ipad back to be reglued. I was told 24 hours an it took 5 days. I had to call them constantly the whole time. The hours are not good. Customer service is lacking, and quality of work is also not very good.

My Ac Adapter port was completely out of its place. Cheapest computer fix replaced the whole socket and now it seems as though I bought a new computer. They were also very professional.

Last week, we were diagnosed with a virus in our computer which led to us to get a new computer, That computer got infected and began to move slow, function irregularly and make strange noises. We took it to cheapest computer fix and they were able to remove the viruses from both computers at a low rate and speedy services.

My Husband and I had a computer for 3 years. The charger port was damaged from the inside. We didn't have a warranty on the laptop so every place we went to denied us service because of warranty standards. We did our research and found cheapest computer fix and they are everything we needed. Our computer is running like new and we have been treated very well. They are reliable and very fast. I wouldn't think twice about returning to them.

I dropped off my laptop for a broken hardware. It still worked perfectly, but the joint was broken and the bezel and hinge needed to be replaced.



It took OVER 2 MONTHS (62 days) and dozens of phone calls begging for the return of my laptop to get it back. I just picked it up and it is missing the hinge entirely and WILL NOW NOT TURN ON AT ALL. I took it in for a cosmetic repair and, after 2 months at Cheapest Computer Fix, it is returned COMPLETELY BROKEN.



Gary had many excuses to why I couldn't pick it up: He said he needed to order more parts, then he couldn't fix it, then he said he'd ship it to me, then the fictitious shipping company couldn't deliver it, then the shipping company lost it, then he said that Cheapest Computer Fix lost it.

I had to have a LAWYER WRITE TO HIM and then he "found" my computer within 10 minutes - after 2 months of waiting! Now I have to go to SMALL CLAIMS COURT! You do not want this hassle!



Please be careful! Other reviewers have had similar problems!

Don't use these guys, Dropped off MacBook, on Monday, they said they would know what was wrong with it on Tuesday. Got no call, so called them on Wednesday and Gary said he would call on Thursday. Again, got no call, he called on Friday and said he would know and call me on Saturday. Still have not heard back, will take it to the Apple store.

I brought in a laptop with a broken DC jack, having first called to get a price quote of $125. When I arrived, I was charged a $30 deposit/diagnostic fee that hadn't been mentioned on the phone, but was assured it would go towards the final cost if I had them do the repair. I payed it, and was told they'd call the following morning with a price quote.

Two days later, I gave them a call, and was told they'd been unable to get ahold of me. (Apparently I wrote both my own phone numbers wrong?) I was told the repair would now cost $170 ($140 after my deposit - I checked) for reasons that varied based on who I spoke with, and that it would be done early the following week.



I called late the following week, and they said the parts had JUST come in, and it would be done the following day. When I picked it up, not only was my laptop filthy and had tape and stickers stuck to it, they had the nerve to try to charge me $170, saying they had meant $200 and deducted the deposit automatically before quoting me the price over the phone.

In all fairness, my laptop is working. For now. But for almost twice the cost and a week longer than I was originally quoted, and with no communication initiated by them.

Stay away from this shady business.



I brought my mac laptop to Cheapest Computer Fix for a new battery. It took them 13 days to repair and return my laptop. Instead of giving me a new battery, they gave me a refurbished battery. They did additional damage to my computer. I had to bring my laptop to a different service provider to get it working again. I'm in the process of filling suit. During the entire experience, they were unprofessional.
