Roof replacement, 4 skylights replaced



I received three estimates from local companies to replace my 22 year old roof. Jimmy came out and thoroughly explained the process. His workers arrived at my house at the projected time, as previously arranged. They were quick, courteous, and cleaned up after themselves while they were working. They finished my roof by 5pm the same day (I think my roof is a little over 2000 square feet.) The process was painless and seamless. They also re-roofed the shed in my backyard, I highly recommend their services! The price was fair - The workers were GREAT!

I had a few leaks in my house n they were able to come right out on my time n gave me a great estimate n they job was done it good timing... i am very satisfied n recommend anyone

Had three leaks in my roof. Two stemmed from a leak in a roof under my roof deck. City Wide came in with the second lowest quote, but they seemed to have ok reviews online so I choose them.

Now only one of the leaks has actually been fixed and I haven't been able to get them to come back to fix anything (I've been trying for the past 6 months).

I had 3 quotes for my house and garage roof and I have a big roof. Jimmy came out to give me a quote when I mentioned that I was getting my gutters done he also quoted for that. They were not the cheapest but their work is great. They showed up with 8 guys to get the roof started because unexpected weather was moving in that day. Had the roof done in a couple days and their gutter crew had it completed in hours. They cleaned up the area better then when they started the job.



A neighbor who is a retired roofer came over to watch them work and commented on how efficient and on the quality of how they were replacing the plywood and roof.



Would recommend to everybody!

unprofessional everything, unacceptable work, refuse to honor their own

warranty, craftsmanship is the worst I have seen, roof literally falling off house

after only 9 years, have more time on warranty, but company absolutely refused

to do anything, John , the person who is in charge of the jobs, has threatened me,

and cursed me out because I have the nerve to ask him to do his job and fix my roof,

what a total idiot to put in charge, go with anyone else!!!!!!!!!!!!!

City Wide Roofing is by far the best roofing company in Philadelphia. I am a contractor and whenever I need a roof done I always bring in City Wide. I have dealt with many other companies but no one brings as good a service then City Wide Roofing. I Suggest everyone who needs a roof to be done to use them

I called city wide roofing and 2 other companies for an estimate on my roof. I picked city wide because the estimator was very thoro he took before pictures and showed me issues that were present on my roof. The estimator also took his time explaining what needed to be done and wrote out a full estimate for me. While I was speaking to the estimator my neighbor next door came out and asked if he had time could he check his roof as well.

My neighbor told me he was very happy with the explaination and what he had to say.

So after writing out my estimate and he already gave me a discount my neighbor asked can we have our roofs done together? The estimator said I'll do you one better so not only did they work around our schedule but they also did both of our roofs on the same day they were able to give us an even better discount which was amazing(he explained how he could do that too)

I had work that day but my neighbor let me know how hard the guys were working. I was able to get out of work early and I arrived when the roofers were finishing up which included cleaning up any debris from doing our roofs. Once there, they explained it was finished and I asked if they would leave the ladder up so I could see the work on the roof. The work was perfect everything was clean and I also gave the guys a camera to take after photos for me which they did for me and my neighbor.

Needless to say both myself and my neighbor were impressed.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE: We hired them to replace our roof, they forgot to tie in the roof to the gutter, resulting in a huge leak and major damage to one of our bedrooms. The owner, John, acted like we were bothering him when we repeatedly called to have them come back out. Then he acted like he was doing us a favor by repairing the bedroom, which was destroyed because of his workers negligence. NOw we just discoverd that they broke one of the gutters on the back of the hosue. Looking forward to calling John again and dealing with his poor customer service. For $8,100 you would expect the job to be done right the first time.

Please do not give them your money!!!

They have been trouble for us. Another contractor showed us what they had done wrong, we've tried for five months to get them back to look at it. Next step is lawyers

Don't bother calling them. I placed 5 calls to the company to get someone out there to give me an estimate for my roof and did not even get a courtesy call back. Move on to another roofer. I tried to rate them with 0 stars but I had to add 1 to get my message posted.

SHODDY WORK. STEER CLEAR OF THESE PEOPLE. MY EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN NOTHING SHORT OF A NIGHTMARE.
