Love it!

My kids love the fireplace that we installed in our family room. I am looking forward to having it heat the house during this winter. It gives the room warmth and a more sophisticated look.

Great Customer Service

We shopped at a few stores in Omaha and were having a hard time finding what we were looking for and our Architect and Designer both suggested that we talk to Claxton Fireplace. We worked with Mike and he helped us find exactly what we were looking for. They even sent the owner of the company out to look at our project and help us design our living room and basement. The installers that they sent to our house were very nice and easy to work with. The part we liked was how clean everything was when they left. They showed us how to work everything and it puts off a lot of heat. My wife loves it! Thank you Claxton. Don't buy a fireplace until you give these guys a try.

Claxton Fireplace Disappointing Review. Look around at other possible companies first!

Will never do business with Claxton Fireplace again! Purchased a Regency HZ42 gas fireplace. The owner was professional and nice unfortunately you dont deal with the owner after the estimate. I advised the owner early on regarding some of our problems we had but he said he has the best employees and are intelligent. Im not sure he is actually seeing what his employees are doing or saying or Im sure he would not have said that.....Our fireplace did not come with an owners manual or brackets for the faceplate. I had to make payments to them for our fireplace and would go to the store every few weeks to make payments. Each time (3) I went I asked if I could get an owners manual. Each time they said yes. I never got one. Also asked them to bring the faceplate, rocks, and remote when they delivered the fireplace. Didnt get any of those. So I asked them to bring it out with the installer. A few weeks after the last payment they came out to install the fireplace, which the installer needed the owners manual to help with the install. He didnt know anything about him needing to bring it or any of the other items. So he left and had to come back at later date to finish the install. Since I never got the owners manual from them I went myself to get it and they asked if they could bring brackets out with them next time they came....ha I said no I will be responsible and make an extra trip to pick them up myself to be sure I had them. Once the fireplace finally was installed, the fireplace would shut off after a hour and half and beep constantly due to a receiver box under the fireplace getting too hot. I asked them to come out and fix the problem they said the box would have to be moved and/or an insulated cover placed on the box so this wouldnt happen. They came out.....had neither the insulated box or extra wire to move the receiver. The guy just left and did nothing. I called again told them nothing was done and they brought out an insulated box a week later and I told them I needed the receiver moved too but they guy didnt have extra wire to move it......So for the third time I called and waiting for them to call back to move the receiver box......who knows what the next results will be.....They have come out approx 7 times for a single install of a fireplace. 3 of the times they did nothing. The final install the fireplace was supposed to be cleaned up and it wasn't. He left and I ended up actually putting the faceplate on tight and cleaning the fireplace. No one seems to know what to do or what is going on. I dont understand how you can not get this right even after I tell them what I need done. How do you never have the parts or equipment? Will never do business again with the company. I wish we wouldve looked around for other fireplace companies to do business with. Very frustrating to work with and I am definitely letting other people know who have asked about getting a fireplace to go elsewhere. At the time of this review I am still waiting for a call back to fix the problem with the fireplace shutting off.........So Im sure I will have to post another review about this. Stay tuned...........This really shouldnt be this difficult its unbelievable! ***Only employee that has been helpful at all is Josh*** Maybe they should have him do sales, customer service, install, and anything else that needs to be done.
