Lake View Café & Store

While making my way around I decided I should stop and grab a bite to eat, now for those that know me, know I can eat a hamburger for three meals a day, and for snacks in between, but they have to be good burgers.

As I walked into the Lakeview Café and Store I observed that it was not a fancy place, but a well kept place, and decorated for a lake side café, very cozy.

I sat down and was greeted with a friendly smile and a basic menu, and a wonderful view of Lake Clear Creek.

Instead of reading the entire menu, I thought I would just ask, “What’s the special today?” the waitress told me “A Cheeseburger platter!”

I told her that sounded good, except I do not care for cheese on my burger. “No Problem!” she said.

I watched the lake as I sat there; the wait was not real long, but about average.

Upon my hamburger arriving I checked it out, it had mustard on it, and mean not just the squirt you normally get, I’m talking about the amount I put on it when I’m at home, the hamburger patty was very thick, and was cooked done through and through, but not burnt in any way, just perfect.

There were also enough fries to finish off any hunger one could have if you could complete the burger.

My burger was delightful, it had a taste of a supreme burger, and the bun was fresh and tasteful as well as all the veggies on it, and with a DP it was only $5.85 plus tax.

I asked the waitress about how long they have been here, and she told me they had re-opened the place in August 2007.

Needless to say, I could not finish off my burger, let alone my fries.

I will be back to partake at this establishment again.
