Provided by YP.comI would not recomend this facility to anyone seeking help of any kind. The nursing staff are very rude and inconcideret of a persons feelings. They do not explain what they will do upon arrival on the ward. I personally went seeking help, signed myself in volontary. I arrived on the floor of the psyc. ward and immediately the nursing staff were rude and did not explain to me that they had to serch through my belongings, the just took them from my hands and started going through my things. One nurse even sat down and started looking at my newspaper. The nurse that was asking me questions had rembered a paitent by the same name as mine being there before and mistaked me for that person. Immediatly she was acusing me of things that I supposedly had done when I was ther before, even though I kept telling her that I had never been there before. They had told me on hte phone prior to my arrival that I could bring my tobacco and would be allowed to keep it, but once I got there the said that it had to be locked up and tht they would come and "walk me" when they had time so I could use it. Like I was a dog they had to walk. I told them after only a short time that I had changed my mind about staying there, hte head nurse started laughing and said "Oh no, you have to stay here for at least two weeks or until the Dr decides to release you. You're not going anywhere". I lost my temper and demanded that they call the Dr and let me speak to him. Finally after the Dr told them they couldn't hold me they let me leave. This facility needs to be investigated. Espically the staff for the way they treat people.
