Although the staff was friendly but i was there printing my final dissertation and it was more than 500 pages and i had to print out 4 copies, which cost me about $270. It was pretty obvious that i am a KU student with KU ID card and the shop apparently had a 10% discount off when you present your KU ID card. But the staff DID NOT inform me about it that they have this promotional discount. When my co-worker went to get hers printed, she realized that there is this current promotion on the door of the shop and went back in to ask about it. They claimed they forgot to inform her. So it seems like they will avoid telling customers about it just so that they can earn more money when it's quite obvious that we are all KU students. I could have save some money as most of us are poor graduate students. I really find this attitude unpleasant and a co-worker of mine also did not get the discount.
