I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!!! Cottage flowers also does party rentals. My wedding was planned for 6/25/2011. I ordered folding white chairs and paid for them a month in advance. When my cousin went to pick them up they only had 40 of the 80 chairs. When I asked the owner what happened all she said was it's human error! She offered no apology or compensation. I had to use other chairs they had which were stacking lawn chairs that I hated. Other people have also written unpleasant reviews on other sites. Type in the name Cottage Flowers then see what comes up some sites have people that also reviewed them.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE....I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!!! Cottage flowers also does party rentals. My wedding was planned for 6/25/2011. We went into the store to rent chairs for our outdoor wedding. We picked out the folding white ones and paid for 80 of them a month in advance. The owner was helping us and really tried to get us to order the plastic stacking chairs insted. I was very clear that I did not like those chairs because many people have them in their lawn and I wanted something more elegant. My cousin agreed in advance to pick up the chairs and deliver them. The wedding was 20 miles away from cottage flowers and it would have cost an extra $150 to have them delivered. On the day of the wedding my cousin went to pick them up 3 hours before the ceremony. He called me to inform me that they only had 40 of the 80 chairs I ordered. I spoke with the owner who was also the one who helped me the day I ordered. She had told me that someone that worked for her had given 40 of the chairs I ordered away (whatever that means!) I asked her how this could happen, I asked why weren't my chairs set aside in advance? All she said was that it was human error and there was nothing that could be done about it now except substitute the stacking chairs. I was in tears and she was very unsympathetic and offered no apology or even some sort of refund. I had no choice but to use the stacking chairs that I absolutely hated! On top of that I had made pew bows with flowers and embellishments to attach to the outside of the chairs along the isle. They were to be attached by the floral wire at the back of the bows. I had made them specifically to fit on the folding chairs. The area that we had to attach them to the stacking chairs was too thick and the floral wire would not fit around it. We had to use the tails of the bows and tie them on which did not look the best. After the honeymoon I emailed cottage flowers and demanded a refund in the amount of the chairs because I did not get the chairs I pre-ordered. That has been over a month ago, I have not heard anything from them. That is why I am now writing a review to warn other people about the rental part of the company. From some other reviews I have read it doesn't seem that they do very good flower arrangements either! They obviously do not care about their customers because she does not do anything to remedy her mistakes. I have many family members and friends who live in Hermiston who have spread the word not to do business with Cottage Flowers and Rentals. Maybe she should try to keep her customers happy and do what is right!
