I have utilized Michael's services three times now. There simply isn't anyone more skilled and thoughtful as Michael. When he takes on a task, it is always done to total perfection. He is a total pleasure to work with. 10 Stars would be more appropriate.

Country Wood Cabinets updated my old 1980's bathroom and kitchen cabinets with custom made cabinets and counter tops . They did an awesome job. Quality workmanship. Micheal and Karen were a pleasure to work with and made great suggestions to improve the design . It was quite obvious they take pride in their work. I highly recommend them.

Michael and Karen took our ideas and made them into just what we wanted. They worked our small job into their busy schedule and the work was done in a quality, timely manner. We are just so happy with the results.

This was one of the most successful and satisfying household projects I have ever commissioned. Throughout the entire process -- from design to installation -- Michael Barra was the consumate craftsman. He took my original, rather banal, concept for a large shelving and cabinet installation and turned it into a work of art. The quality of his workmanship is extraordinary, and he is meticulous in its execution every step of the way. In addition, and also very important to me, he is a pleasure to work with. He is now my “go-to guy” for quality cabinetry.

We chose Country Wood Cabinets to remodel our small kitchen after reading previous reviews and meeting with Michael & Karen. And what an excellent choice it is was. Michael, Karen & family did a most excellent job from start to finish. We had some ideas, Michael made some excellent suggestions, and Country Wood Cabinets brought our dreams to life. We could not be happier. I sometimes catch myself just looking at the meticulous handiwork. We now have plenty of room to store all our kitchen items, and with room to spare.

Michael Barra is a master craftsman and cabinet builder of unique talent. He has immense pride in his work and it shows in every aspect of the project. His clients can rest assured that he and Karen will deliver superior cabinetry coupled with extraordinary workmanship. Karen is right by Michael's side every day while the work is being done and handles all the tedious paperwork, and all with a perpetual smile. As a result, Beth and I have a beautiful kitchen in our house, which will bring enjoyment and value for years to come.

We had Country Wood Cabinets construct a kitchen island. We wanted to match our existing cabinets. Mike did a great job constructing the island and it matches the existing cabinets perfectly! Karen arranged for the granite top on the island and we are thrilled with it. Karen kept us up to date on status and delivery. The island arrived as promised and in great condition. The island is now the showcase of our kitchen!! No job too big or too small for Country Wood Cabinets! We highly recommend them for anything you might need!!!

I highly recommend them-they did a fabulous job on a cabinet we asked them to make to hold a 55" TV. The cabinet was matched into an existing entertainment center. The stain match was perfect. The cabinet design is beautiful. We couldn't be happier. Michael and Karen were easy to work with, professional, and pay attention to detail. You can't go wrong contracting with this company,

Our cabinets are awesome! What a pleasure to work with Michael and Karen who were professional from start to finish. Michael is a master craftsman of the "Old World Style." He selected the lumber. cut it, planed it and created the door and trim work. The Cherry wood pieces were stained so beautifully which made this a stunning piece of furniture. There are very few craftsman of Michael's stature in the cabinetry business so, if you want quality and perfection ...this is the place to find it..

It has been over 6 years since Michael and Karen did our kitchen and half bath and I still smile when I look at it. Planning and design was thorough. Michael will translate what you want and need into reality. He is a perfectionist and demands the same of the subs he uses for tile, counters, flooring, electrical, and plumbing. He takes great pride in his custom made cabinets and they are flawless.

If you're looking for quick and cheap, they are not for you. If you want something that you can be happy with for years to come, give them a call.

Our new custom cabinets are gorgeous! They are entirely hand crafted to our exact specifications, and the quality is second to none. We met with Karen and Michael many times during the planning process, and they answered questions and offered suggestions for our consideration. They worked long hours tirelessly during installation, and cleaned up after themselves. We have already referred other potential clients, some of whom live in our neighborhood and saw the cabinets firsthand and were very impressed. We can't say enough how beautiful our new kitchen is and how completely satisfied we are.

Me and my wife had been searching for ideas on how to utilize some extra space in our kitchen to help fit our needs. When I contacted Michael and Karen we scheduled a meeting at my home where my wife and I could express what we wanted done. Michael came up with a very beautiful and unique design and he built and installed my cabinets in a professional and timely manner. I would recommend them to anyone for any and all home renovations or new install needs.

After deciding to remodel our kitchen, we visited a number of contractors, viewed their work and kept on looking. We then were fortunate to have found Country Wood Cabinets online. Michael and Karen, owners of Country Wood set up a meeting at our home, where they say is the best place to visualize your remodel. We could tell immediately they were committed to excellence in all aspects of the project from design and layout, craftsmanship and service. We hired them that day and we couldn’t be happier we did !



My wife and I are perfectionists. I love woodworking and did it semi-professionally for a while. My wife has an excellent talent for decorating, a demanding eye for room and furniture design. Michael's craftsmanship and expertise on how to properly install his cabinets lived up to our every expectation from the suggestions on layout and design details to the finished kitchen. The cabinets are completely handmade, beautifully crafted, and have a flawlessly applied lacquer finish. They are gorgeous. You cannot get this kind of quality anywhere else.



Michael and Karen gently helped us along the way, with their many years of experience. They took responsibility for all aspects of the project from demolition, to electrical, plumbing rework, to installation of the cabinets and granite. They were always there personally supervising all of their sub-contractors during electrical, plumbing and granite install. They did a complete and professional job. At the end of each day, the construction area was completely cleaned up, like they were never there.



We absolutely love our new kitchen, and highly recommend Michael and Karen to anyone about to redo any room of their house. Their honesty and the quality of their work is the very best.

A MAJOR renovation.. We were very anxious in who we would get and trust to do this.



When we interviewed Michael and Karen, we decided in same day to give them the job.



EACH DAY they worked they cleaned up and didn't disturb the rest of the house, The staging and execution was well thought out. They were respectful and upfront, no surprises . They worked to earn our trust. WE arrived at a kitchen to be proud of !

Very friendly and patient. They listen to your individual needs and design custom solutions (cabinet, kitchen, bathroom, etc) for your every need.

I have used Michael and Karen twice in the last two renovations of homes that I have lived in personally. I wake up everyday, excited and proud of their work....cabinets, moving walls, hardwood floors, new baths, new kitchen. They are stellar!!
