At Covenant Roofing, we realize that most people have never purchased a roof and therefore, may not understand the information they receive from their insurance company. For example, there is strict code enforcement on the decking, the wood surface just under the shingle, and on ventilation, you must have adequate ventilation or you may void your warranty. You need to install drip edge to protect your shingle mold, a small decorative piece of wood, and drip edge also prevents the capillary effect of water entering your roof.
