Provided by YP.comI signed a two-year contract for Internet+TV believing that if I moved out of my residence before my contract was complete, the Early Termination Fee would be waived. I had two sales representatives explicitly tell me this, yet when I went to disconnect my services because I was moving outside of Cox's service area, I was told that I would still be charged the Early Termination Fee. And on top of that, the cable and internet services were sub par at best when I was actually a customer. I wholeheartedly recommend that you go with a local cable provider if at all possible and would NEVER recommend Cox to anyone ever again. I will absolutely be reporting them to the BBB for this.

Provided by YP.comCustomer service is great. Unfortunately, that's all that's good about them. I'm on the phone with them all too often. The internet is often horribly slow and unreliable. Actually, as I was writing this, I was transfered to a customer service rep that was very snarky and passive aggressive. So I guess even the customer service isn't that great. Very displeased. I will be changing providers.
