On 8/15/16, A young man knocked on my door stating that he had leftover tar from a paving job and wondered if I would like the end of my driveway fixed. I stated that I couldn't afford an expensive job-I was told "We'll work with you, if you allow us to put our business sign on your lawn." Estimated cost- $350. I gave permission. I watched the job being done. I watched as two five gallon buckets (no lids) was taken from the back of his truck. The tar did not show steam, or smell hot. It was placed on the drive, then "packed down" using the truck wheels. After completion, his father sat in my car to write up the bill. The son said that he used "400 pounds of tar for the job for an area of 12 inches by 4 1/2 feet. The total bill was $750! They refused credit cards. I stated that they would have to take a post dated check, which they didn't like. NO BUSINESS SIGN WAS PLACED ON MY LAWN. I have a report from the D.C. sheriff's department and I have contacted the BBB. SCAMMERS!!!

BAD NEWS!!! THEY DON'T FINISH THEIR JOBS!

Once they are paid you will never be able to find them again!
