I hired Mr. Gatch to handle my Chapter 7 bankruptcy. The need to file for bankruptcy is a very painful, humiliating experience, and I was terrified and filled with shame. When I was referred to Mr. Gatch I was told to expect someone that could be rather harsh to work with, (that coming from a creditor). I have hired Mr. David Gatch to represent me for two problems I have had in the last couple of years. First, I have a problem with alcohol. I was referred to Mr. Gatch by a friend he had represented in the City Court of Clanton for driving under the influence. He agreed to meet me promptly and he did. When we talked he listened to what I had to say. He did not judge me. His advice was that I needed to address the question as to whether I really had a issue with alcohol or pills, and if I thought I did, that he would refer me to a treatment facility. In addition, he would represent me in court to attempt to do one of three things.....I could enter a conditional plea of guilty that would be wiped out if I did what the court told me to do, I could plead guilty and put the charge behind me, or I could go to trial if I felt the arrest had been improper or I was innocent. He did not try to manipulate me in any way. He was kind. I chose to attempt to plead guilty on a conditional basis, and to attempt to do something about my own issues. I also sought out help for my issues with alcohol and pills. I did complete the program ordered by the court and my DUI was set aside and not entered against me. I also got help and am clean and sober today. If you have a issue with alcohol or pills, and have been arrested for DUI, you can trust Mr. Gatch to give you solid legal advice. I would hire Mr. Gatch again!!! Thank you, Mr. Gatch!
