I bought what I thought was a Senegal Parrot, looked similiar, but after I took her home, realized she was a different species. I found my receipt and the guy had written the correct name of the species, then stuck "Senegal" on the end of it. Well, there is no such type of bird! It was obviously just a mistake. I called the store expecting them to be nice about it because I had the receipt which had the fake species name in writing. Wrong. The lady, the owner, was very nasty. She finally agreed to give me store credit after a number of phone calls. I ended up rehoming the bird myself because it did not get along with my other bird. I did not want store credit because of how rude they were and never wanted to go back there again.
