Provided by YP.comSTAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE!!!!! Not only did I tow for this company & am still waiting for payment Chris will not answer my calls or make arrangements to reimburse bad checks. He also ATTEMPTED to repair my truck He continually lied about what he was doing to it, which was nothing but tear it apart (improperly at that). It was driven in for repairs & towed out undrivable. I will probably lose over $5,000 because of the mess he made of it, not to mention the thousands still owed in towing jobs. Whether you are a tow service or a person needing work STAY AWAY!! CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED! Wish I had read this first. Doesnt deserve any rating except minus

Provided by YP.comAbysmal experience, run away and do not bring your car to this shop.
I was foolish enough to trust them with an expensive repair Chris Shuler recommended: an engine replacement in a 1999 SAAB back in April. Long story short, several thousand dollars, three breakdowns and two months later, not to mention countless trips, phone calls and several towing trucks later, the SAAB needed an additional $2000 worth of repair from a specialized, professional shop to fix what these crooks broke. They had no clue or interest in putting anything back together properly, used shoddy parts and workmanship, attempted to glue parts and made the car a hazard to drive: fuel pump, hoses, engine mounts, breaks and the AC are just a few of the things they broke. Shuler's attitude got increasingly aggressive and crass. All people taken by this guys should sue him--I am still contemplating that option since the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is basically powerless--they investigate claims against the business but cannot impose a penalty or force a resolution. Shuler gives the same excuse every time: it was a bad manager or employee that he then fired--BS, it is him and all of his managers who are crooked and rip off customers by charging a lot of money upfront and not performing the work at all or making the cars worse. Learn from those of us who got burned and run away.

Provided by YP.comRun dont walk , Chris Shuler and Hellen Lawson (not married but together) have a business. Hellen (the owner) Chris (thinks he is the owner). Well lets get to it, Chris Shuler ran from (got kicked out of) Texas to Florida about 3-4 years ago. He came here and decided to do what he does best and rip off everybody that gets within 3 feet of him. He has got to have to most spineless , unthoughtfull, worst, ethics I have ever seen in my entire life. Everything from ripping off customers, pulling check engine lights (cant fix car) to clearing out catalytic convertors, pulling out transmissions & painting them to put back and selling the customer a 2500.00 transmission rebuild, painting alternators, starters, NEED I GO ON???? I have never in my life met a man so bad. RUN DONT WALK , HE IS NOW DOWN TO 1 SHOP FROM 3 SO HOPEFULLY EVEN THAT ON WILL GO AWAY SOON, HE WILL PROBABLY END UP IN PRISON ANYWAYS.(if they catch him before he leaves the country) England is only a plane ride away.
I hope everyone the best and hope that you never have to meet up with this man. I also feel bad for the employees that work for him and have to wait on their paychecks to clear 3-5 days after payday EVERY week.

Provided by YP.comI've taken my car to Dealer Direct a number of times and have been treated quite well at both locations (one is closer to home, one closer to work). The very first time I went after another transmission place had completely taken apart my transmission, THEN quoted me nearly $3,000! Dealer Direct had my car picked up, and they fixed it all for less than $1,800!
Ever since then, I always take my car there - for everything!

Provided by YP.comwww.wftv.com, move icon to news, click on action 9, click on repair shop horror story, view. then click on channel 9 confronts repair shop owner. seems bad to do business with a shop owner who has "no Idea" about the BAD goings-on with his staff. i dont buy it, he has a clue. he's the owner, i bet he's the captain, or he's a schlep of a business owner. i'll steer clear.

Provided by YP.comwftv.com, move icon to "news", click on "action 9", click on repair shop horror. Bad stuff in my opinion. washing parts and selling back to you is like a doctor telling you you got a bad heart, cutting you open, and spraying your heart down with tap water and saying "have fun, it's a transplant".

Provided by YP.comI took my car in for repairs back in October 2009. I was told that I needed a new transmission and given a price. I paid for the work and left my car with them for two weeks. The day after I got the car back, it was still not shifting correctly. I have had it back at least a dozen times for the same problem. Each time I dropped off my car, they had it for 5 to 10 days. They drove it all over town and ran all the gas out of it, one time they even called me wanting gas money. I have been approached by several of their employees stating that no work has been done on my car, and that unlicensed drivers have been allowed to drive my car. They claim to have changed the Transmission, the control module-twice, coils, interment cluster, motor mounts. I have paid a total of 3,502.01. This has been going on for almost a year and I’m stuck with a car and a faulty transmission and no money for repairs. I just got it back Friday after another week, and this morning it is still doing the same thing.

Provided by YP.comFor all of you who had a bad experience with this crook, Chris Shuler, who has 3 locations, including the one on 6367 East Colonial Drive, Orlando, Florida 32807. Whenever you post the reviews, you also need to take action, like filing a complaint with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Here is the address, phone number and email address. 407 South Calhoun Street, Tallahassee, FL. 32399-0800, phone number 1-800-435-7352. Email address is www.800help.com/complnt.htl This crook tried to rip me off, when he did not performed the job that I had payed him for. Not only did he not performed the job, but also took out my old part from my vehicle cleaned and painted it, then tried to sell it to me as a new part. Little did he know that this trick was not going to work with me, you see I am smarter then what he thought I was. After I filed a complaint with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, they got in contact with him. He then had no other choice but to give me 100% refund, after he lied to them by saying that his shop manager and the mechanic misdiagnosed the problem. Yet when I tried for him to credit my account because he did not performed the job that he was paid for, his response was that he could not do that because he had installed new parts in my vehicle which was a lie. If you really want to see who this crook is, just go to this website. htt://cc.co.tarrant.tx.us/CivilCourts/JP/ This is the website for Tarrant County Court at ( 100 E. Weatherford Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76196, phone number (818) 884-1111. You will see the ugly trails that he left in Fort Worth Texas. Now he comes to Orlando Florida and is doing the same thing. We need to stop this crook (Chris Shuler), from taking advantage of all hard working Floridians. The only way that we can stop him is by doing the right thing and reporting him to the proper authorities. Those positive reviews that are posted, 99% are posted by him and his girlfriend Helen Lawson, so don't be fool by them. On Wednesday, February 3rd 2010, the Orange County Tax Collector paid him a visit on all of his 3 locations, and left him notice for him to obtain county business tax receipts for for all 3 of his locations. Now this crook has 180 days to do so before the Orange County Tax Collector starts fining him. So as you all can see guy (Chris Shuler), has a pattern of ripping off anybody that gives him the opportunity to do so. SO STAY AWAY FROM THIS CROOK.

Provided by YP.comthey ripped me off tring to charge me $1700 for a brakes job when all I had was a rock in my pads. chris shuler the owner posts fake reviews. all the reviews you see below are not real. When he gets a bad review like this he cries and has them removed or writes more positive ones to hide the bad. I saw on previous reviews that he sells your good parts back to you, by painting them. I also heard he was run out of ft worth texas with the same scam. Stay away from this shop.

Provided by YP.comImproper diagnosis to my truck, I thought it was a transmission problem, took to them, they said it was, but the diagnosis sounded wrong, as I know a little about mechanics. Got a second opinion for a $50.00 part on the engine and the problem was fixed. Maybe incompetence, maybe a transmission not needing rebuilt. These guys are slippery. Stay Away!!!!!
