We had Kenneth build a deck and patio cover for us. They both turned out looking very good. He and his crew did a nice job. The problem is, they never finished. We have been calling him and texting him for 6 months, and have NEVER had him pick up a phone call. He would text back about every 2 -3 weeks, and make an appointment to meet with us - to finish up with the small details that were left incomplete - redirecting the gutter/downspout, staining a beam, finishing the railing in one area near our house, leveling out one of the stairs that is uneven. He NEVER showed up to the appts. My husband took off a day of work on 3 occasions to meet Kenneth because he said that he could only be here in the middle of the day. On several other occasions my husband left work early to meet him. We never received a phone call to cancel. Twice, he texted us after he didn t show with an excuse. That was after we waited around to meet him and never heard from him. He might have plenty of excuses but there is NO reason that he could not respond to us or come by to meet with us if he is able to start new jobs. On top of that, Kenneth NEVER had the second or final city inspection done. We gave him chance after chance to make this right. He continued to not show and not respond. We are now in the process of getting the inspections done as our permit expires this week and will have to file for a new one if we don t take it into our own hands. We already had the inspector here ourselves, only to find out that we have to remove boards from the floor and trim in order for it to pass.

We are left with an incomplete deck. Do not waste your money or time. Though we enjoyed meeting him at first - and he seemed like a good guy - doing a good job. I'm sad to say that our opinion has changed as we cannot trust his word now. We did our part as giving him the benefit of the doubt for over 5 months.
