The experience with these Deels apartments is mixed. The apartments are nice but in the last two years they have raised the rent like 13% per year is this not fair to the hard working tenants living there. This particular area in Sylmar is consider a very Hot Area because of the crime. People get shot and killed very often in these streets plus cars that are parked in the street get broken into very often. The landlord should really think about all these factors before raising the rents so much plus the working class here don't get 13% increases in their jobs. The cost of living shouldn't increase by that much. The tenants there are only asking the landlord to consider all these factors before continuing to increase the rent so much. The tenants there think that a 3 to 5% increase is fare depending on the credit of the tenant plus how he/she has been living there.
