When we met with Monty the own...

When we met with Monty the owner we were excited to pick him as our DJ because he was so outgoing, fun, friendly and seemed like he could keep a crowd motivated. The online site was very easy to use, we spent HOURS putting all our information online, song choices, special requests, bridal party names for introductions, what songs to play and not to play etc.... The Thursday before our wedding we finally got a call from Monty letting us know we would have another DJ but that "this guy" has done several weddings and knew what he was doing. WELL...."THIS GUY" called me Friday night about an hour before our rehearsal wanting to know how we wanted things to run, what songs we wanted to hear, our bridal party names, what songs not to play, what songs we were coming into, what we were using for dances, things we already spent HOURS putting in on our online profile and going over with Monty the owner. A little irritated because I didn't want to go over this again, I still did because I knew it was important to me. Well the day of the event the new DJ Monty provided for us, first introduced one of my bridesmaids as Denise and her name is Desiree, then kept the same song playing for our entrance I had to yell over to someone to ask him to switch to our Bride and Groom entrance song. Then he started to release random tables to the buffet line first, I had to yell out "HEY shouldn't the bridal party eat first" so he quickly said OH YEAH MY BAD, go ahead bridal party. There were a lot of pauses between songs, he also decided he needed to announce that he was stepping away for a "well needed break" AKA he was using the bathroom. I don't think he really need to announce this but whatever. He also forgot to do our Dollar dance which I asked about twice, and then by the end of the night never happened. He kept making the cheesey announcement that "this next one is by request" JUST PLAY THE DAMN SONG! We got a lot of complaints at the end of the night and over the next few days after wards that our DJ was not tip worthy. But my husband had a little to much to drink and didn't realize all the mess ups and tipped him which I didn't find out to till the next day or we wouldn't have tipped him. When I tried to explain some of my concerns with Monty the next day he seemed uninterested and even said on some of the things "oh yeah Ive done that before" basically beware don't be fooled by Monty's outgoing personality and charm he could switch your DJ On you at the last minute! I would never recommend him to someone because of this!

Your husband had too much to drink and missed the whole evening "mistakes" including the introduction? So he was "tipsy" following you ceremony? And yet still had the desire to tip a GREAT DJ? Were you not together through the evening? Did you not voice your complaints to him even once throughout the night? I spoke to you the next day and I never act "uninterested" in a potential client or past customer. That's why I have an A+ business rating with the Denver BBB. Also numerous current email testimonials I forward to each prospective client. I hope for a 100% satisfaction rating. But I know in real life this is impossible. However had you voiced your concerns differently I assure you we could have addressed them better.
