Founded in 1978, Dierbergs Clarkson School of Cooking is a private coeducational school with campuses in Creve Coeur, St. Louis, Chesterfield, Florissant, Arnold and Ellisville, Mo. The school offers over five programs in culinary arts, baking, and hospitality and restaurant management. Dierbergs Clarkson School of Cooking offers training in restaurants, bakeries, banquets and corporate dining rooms. The school also conducts cooking classes for children in summer vacations. Dierbergs Clarkson School of Cooking is owned and operated by Dierbergs, which is one of the first supermarkets in the United States. Dierbergs operates pharmacy, seafood, meat and deli departments. In addition, the supermarket has a full-service florist department that offers flowers for various occasions, including birthdays, weddings and anniversaries.
