I recently had an event at this establishment and the venue is gorgeous. Almost breath taking, but the volunteer staff is rude, they charge an arm and a leg for rental. Not only did I pay 1600 for a room ($100 of that is a custodial fee) the clean up and re arrangement of chairs and tables is a pain. We had 15 people help clean and did a walk through WITH THE EMPLOYEE assigned to monitor the event. I havent received my deposit check or any notification about when I would receive it. My event was 3 weeks ago. When they FINALLY return my call I have to go pick it up after I was informed 2 weeks before that it would be mailed. I was told I would not be receiving my full deposit because they had to pick up some trash. I WAS LIVID, my guests and I worked really hard to clean that venue, and the woman we did our walk through with gave us the ok that everything looked fine. I went home, read my contract, fought it and won. READ YOUR CONTRACT! This is not a trustworthy establishment.
