Provided by YP.comJanuary 26, 2012Dr. FixIt is unprofessional and I would like to warn anyone considering using their services to check them out first under the Better Business Bureau website. They are not accredited with the BBB, due to their # of complaints. In fact the BBB has sent them a cease and desist letter to remove their logo torch from the company website. I'll give a brief rundown of my personal experience.I called on Friday, January 25 at 1pm and made an appt for 4:30 the same day. I was told a technician would call me for the make and model # of my fridge, which the board had gone bad on creating a 72 degree environment for my $200 in groceries, which I had purchased that morning. I actually spoke with the owner, Mark, directly as 5pm approached and no one called or showed. He assured me that someone would be out shortly and that the tech was just a little behind. 7pm came, I continued to call the "call center" and left messages for Mark. I was told that the tech was being dispatched, and to hang tight. By 8pm, I gave up, put all my food in coolers, went out to buy ice, and scheduled an emergency appt for first thing in the AM, the following day(Saturday). Here we are Saturday, 9am, no call, no show. I call the call center and schedule an actual appt for 10 am. No call no show. At this point I call Mark directly again from a different #, other than my cell, because it is apparent that he was screening his calls. He answered, when I stated my name, he immediately hung up. Long story short, for whatever reason, this company, in which I've never met a soul there, just had a broken fridge, and called to set up an appt with, has personally been rude to me, no shown for three appts, and refused to take my calls. Yes, that is correct, when i called the call center to understand what in the heck was going on, I was told by two different supervisors that they had been instructed to end the call and they immediately hung up on me. Of course it is my opinion that this is a VERY unprofessional company, but based on the facts, it is very poor business and no class with zero customer service. If Mark reads this review, I welcome a reply or phone call to discuss. I left him a VM because he was too cowardly to answer or return my call and try to right his wrong with the company and their actions-or lack thereof. I have filed my own complaint with the BBB and will be adding other reviews online, yelp, etc. Please be very weary of doing business with this company. Of course, this is just my experience, but I didn't take time to write this review for my health. There are enough companies out there that provide customer service and want to work. I would not waste my time entertaining this one.If you would like to view the link of multiple complaints and the reason they are not BBB accredited, here is the link.http://www.bbb.org/columbia/business-reviews/appliances-small-service-and-repair/dr-fixit-in-charleston-sc-34086489
