These guys are wonderful. They are honest and tell you up front before they do anything. They may find some things wrong or going bad and explain if it is significant or un safe. Prices are better than anyone. Also fast very fast turn around. Love the towing service as well.

I recently broke down in the middle of the rd. I called the Duke Boys, the person on the phone asked me if I was in a safe location. I told him NO, and I have my kids in the car. They were fast! they had my kids and I loaded in the tow truck and the car off the road in no time. Very professional service, I was very impressed on how clean and nice the tow truck was. The drive was very nice, it was a very good experience for a bad situation.

duke's towing seems to be a joke these days.not like when derek owned it.this wrecker driver got a little mouthy with me last friday,and we had a few words.nothing out of the ordinary,easily forgotten and we go our seperate ways.but no,this jackass later calls the cops and told them i smacked him in the back of the head,which i never did.he can't prove it,because it never happened.i had 2 cops at my house a while later.i'll never do business with them again.

I am an insurance adjuster with nearly 20 years experience in the Duluth area. I have worked with Dukes on many occasions. They are always professional and fair. Their rates are far from excessive and a 5.00 fuel surcharge is not a rip off. There are other tow companies in this area that I wouldn't call to hook up a little red wagon because they will rip you off blind. If you think 90.00 is high you are either a cheap skate or know little about the business. As far as the people complaining about Dukes not coming to tow your RV because it is out of their operating area; your complaint lies with AAA being too stupid to look on the computer for a map and cross referencing their areas of operation with the proper tow company. If you want fair service, Call Dukes.

We were pulling our travel trailer on Interstate 35 on our way to Duluth and the tread blew off the trailer radial tire and did serious damage to our travel trailer. Apparently AAA contracts with this towing company. Duke's called us on our cell phone, when they should have already been there, to tell us that our breakdown wasn't in their service area and they wouldn't be coming out to assist us. In my opinion, they should have been the ones to call AAA back or tell them when they took the call initially. We ending up changing the tire on the freeway ourselves. Otherwise we would have had to wait at least another hour to get it straightened out and have someone else come since we weren't near any town.

I called this company for a tow recently. They told me that they would be there in a half hour. I waited two hours, without as much as a phone call to let me know they would be late. They quoted me a price of $85.00 to tow my car. When we reached the place my car was being towed to, the driver told me that I had to pay an additional $5.00 fuel surcharge. I explained to the driver that, that was never told to me when I called. The driver then told me that if I did not pay the surcharge, he would not take my car off his truck and he would impound my car and it would cost me an additional $100.00 to get it out of impound. I later spoke with the owner, Darin, and he told me that the driver was following company policy.######I will never call Dukes towing ever again and I suggest anyone reading this do the same.
