Based in Leesburg, Fla., Electric Services has been serving Florida's electrical needs since 1965 completing more than 1,000 large projects and more than 10,000 smaller projects. Currently owned and operated by Steven and Scott Strong, ESI was purchased by their father, Wayne Strong, in 1978. ESI performs all phases of commercial, industrial and institutional electrical contracting throughout the southeastern United States. ESI operates out of a 67,000 square foot central distribution facility and participates in Florida Electrical Apprenticeship Training programs throughout Central Florida.ESI conducts weekly safety meetings and annual drug and alcohol abuse educational programs. Every project has MSDS sheets, emergency instructions and a safety program manual posted. In addition to the OSHA requirements, as of April 2005, ESI boasts a .86 workers' compensation modifier.
