Provided by YP.comThe website says they are open 24 hours a day/7 days a week. But what they don't say is if you are the unhhappy recipient of being towed you can only get your car out of hock until 5:00 and for every day your car is there you are charged 35.00. Here is my question how can this rip off company do that and get away with it? Especially when there is a time limit on when you can get your car. I hate being ripped off by these idiot companies that make money off of us hand over foot, there should be a law, hahaha fat chance of that ever happening!

Provided by YP.comThis is a rip-off extortion racket that is running a car-for-ransom operation at Mall of America over the Holidays. BEWARE. They will tow and impound your vehicle, then insist you pay $220 cash (they will accept no other payment method), and provide no receipt (sound like a legitimate business to you?). It's a scam. The Five star ratings on here are done by an employee of the operation.

Provided by YP.comRose was fantastic! She was more than fair in helping me replace my wheels and tires and towing my Yukon to the dealership. I would definitely recommend Elite to anyone looking for an honest tow company. I was pleasantly surprised by the total bill for my job. Thanks

Provided by YP.comOn 10/24/2009 my Grand Prix was towed from the Pines apartment complex in Burnsville at approximately 11:15 P.M. by Elite Towing, Inc. I was told they would only release cars the following day between 12:00 P.M. and 1:00 P.M. I arrived at Elite Towing on 10/25/2009 to pick up my car. I was told I needed to pay $200 cash, so I had to leave and get cash. I returned a few minutes later with $200 cash and requested to look at my car. I was walked out to the muddy back lot where my car was parked. I was able to walk around my car to look for damage on the top. I was unable to inspect underneath because the ground was muddy from the rain the night before and the car was parked up close to other vehicles. Based on the inspection I was allowed to do, my vehicle appeared to be in OK condition. At that point the only way they would release the vehicle to me was if I paid the $200 cash and signed their receipt, so I did. The following day (10/26/2009) I parked my car in a lot where I could look underneath it. I found damage on the rear bumper and the exhaust pipes. The damage was only visible when looking at it from below the bumper level. I called Elite towing on 10/26/2009 and told them about the damage and they denied responsibility. They said I probably backed over something causing the damage. My car had the rear bumper repaired on 2/18/2009 from being rear ended and was in “like new” condition prior to being towed. The damage to my car was not from backing over a curb. It is evident when viewing the damage that it occurred when the vehicle was inclined on the tow truck. The damage shows that Elite towing had my car lifted at too much of an angle when being towed. The rear bumper hit on the pavement when it was towed. The damage to my car is $1820.61 and Elite Towing refuses to pay even though they know they caused it.
