Rob Conrad came to NY in 93. He has played Starlite Ball Room, Ye Olde Tripple Inn. Rob was taught to play by his brother Dennis, and his uncle James. With over one hundred songs recorded, he has played with Siamese Bob, and Fishes Eddie. He began doing acoustic work with Jay in 01, which continued until 03 when they formed Cellar Door. To this day Cellar Door is still out there playing their hearts out. Their sound holds strong. Robs talent for songwriting, superb, and vocals, one of a kind. Matched up with the rest of his power trio, someday everyone will know the name Cellar Door. Alan Wayne from Farmington CT started playing bass for twenty years. He played around CT for years before moving to upstate N.Y. in 87. Alan began playing soon after arriving with Pulling Strings, Cruel Lie, Bad Habit, and a few others. Al met Rob, when Rob ran out of gas in front of his house; he had been looking for a bass player, the rest is history. Jay Hanas started with Rob in 01, singing acoustic rock in NY. He became Cellar Door's first bass player with Justin Oatman on drums. Rob and Jay would switch back and forth. Eventually adding Ronnie Dark on lead guitar and vocals. When Ronnie left Jay went back to rhythm guitar and we added Jim Forting on bass until 03. Justin and Jim left the band. Jay went to Chalkline and Rob went back to solo. He began writing and started his own band. He performed a few shows when Jay decided to hang it up to play for money with Rob and Al, of Cellar Door
