Provided by YP.comAbsolutely horrible experience. Do not know how these people still are in business. Older woman on the phone seems confused and they should find someone new to speak to customers and answer phones. After getting cost & trip info which was like pulling teeth, I have now called multiple times to book my trip and cannot ever reach anyone! Completely unprofessional and I do not recommend anyone to use them. Don't waste your time calling Family tradition, they probably won't even answer!

Provided by YP.comHELL YEA 5 STARS! 9/26/15, 8 of us booked the charter boat "Makin Memories"/ "Family Tradition" Jason was AWESOME and made our trip!!!! We had a blast and an unforgettable experience. They just made them returning guest for now on. Highly Recommended!

Provided by YPmobileMy family and I have done several charters with this company and are very pleased. The first time we went, we came close friends with the captain. He is a very helpful and down to Earth guy. His deck hands also help with bait and any questions you may have about fish that are in/out of season. I have told many people we know to use his company for charters when they go to Panama.

Provided by YPmobileCalled 3 weeks before arriving for a 2 person charter. Drove 3 hours, rented a room for 2 nights and used a vacation day only to find out no charter. The lady in charge couldn't be reached. What a fiasco and thanks for nothing. Sorry darn way of doing business .

Provided by YP.comWish we had read the review from chris.nolley.7 before we rented a pontoon boat on 7/28/2015. Almost the exact same thing happened to us. The boat broke down and we had to be towed back in. They offered to give us a full refund at first and told us to come back the next day. The next day when I returned she said she could only do a partial refund and would mail me a check. I told her that we had paid with two different cards and she could just credit it back to them. She agreed and said that it would be done that day and that she would call me when it had been done. Three days later, it still had not been credited back to our cards. We returned again and as soon as she saw me, she started yelling and got irate. She said , I led her to believe that we had paid for a full day rental. She is the one that had just taken our money just a couple hours before the boat broke down. I also talked to a deck hand on the "owner's" charter boat. He supposedly texted the owner with my name and number and said that the owner will call me. After a couple of days of no phone call my wife called again and supposedly talked to the "owner's" mother. She said that she would make sure that her son would call us. After another week we still have not received a phone call. I guess that is the "Family Tradition" to do business. Find another boat rental business. This one isn't worth your time or money.

Provided by YP.comScheduled two 10 hour trips back to back with the owner of the fleet. I expressed to him that I had two large groups and wanted to go grouper fishing and not fishing inshore for small trash fish which can be caught on any head boat for a fraction of the cost of a 10 hour deep sea fishing trip. After paying for the trip I even had to buy the bait. The captain that ran the boat complained of the boat having engine issues and generator issues for the past several months The generator broke down both days providing no air conditioning for the elderly and children that where on these trips. The starboard motor broke down and over heated both days as well. Do not book with this captain.

Provided by YP.comI would not recommend this company. We rented a pontoon boat there on Wednesday 07/17/2013. The pontoon boat broke down stranding us in the middle of the water over by Shell Island. We eventually were towed back to the shore of Shell Island by some other vacationers that saw us afloat. They eventually did bring us another pontoon boat, but by that point the whole experience had turned bad. We just came back in about an hour early. Everything with the owner was fine at this point as I didn't blame them on the boat breaking down....things just happen sometimes. I did request a partial refund of our money for the troubles and they agreed to refund $70. It has been a week and the money has still not been placed back on my card. I have been told many lies and been given the run around in an attempt to not refund the money. Lastly I was told that "They hadn't approved it"......like she had somebody in corporate office that had to approve it.......SHE IS THE OWNER.
