"I wanted a nice looking kitchen but did not feel my modest home commanded, or would recoup, a $6000+ cabinet re-facing or replacing upgrade. If you're exploring these options, consider painting as a very attractive and much more affordable option at under 1/2 the cost... the bright, well done finished product is a vast improvement over the dated, and dark wood cabinets... also drilled holes and installed knobs for the doors and drawers.
