Fire & Ice did an install job of central heat and air conditioning for three units on a rental property I manage and they were on time (if not early), fast-working and extremely professional. Both the dispatch office and the actual install crew were always friendly and promptly took care of any issues the property owner and/or I had.



The reason I was so inclined to seek out a place online to review Fire & Ice is because they really went above and beyond the call of duty on this project. With construction slowing due to this country's rough economy I want to make sure companies like Fire & Ice get as many jobs coming their way as possible. Oh, and I got four quotes from different A/C companies beforehand and Fire & Ice's was among the most competitive, so there's another benefit!



Not only did the install job go smoothly and the final product look great (and work great) but the Fire & Ice crew helped me work through a series of permitting issues the city inspector drummed up at the completion of the job.



Let me emphasize here that the permit issues were NOT anything related to Fire & Ice's job per se but rather were the fault of the aging buildings and the irresponsibility of previous owners of the property who had not bothered to permit any of the work they had done. However, this caused the city inspector to take a magnifying glass to all aspects of Fire & Ice's project (along with separate issues the owner and I sorted out with the city inspector concurrently). The inspector had questions about the way the A/C and heating units had been installed and Fire & Ice produced the manufacturer's install guide on the spot that showed the installation was up to code. After two other minor revisions -- one of which was only due to a city code update that had just taken effect -- the inspector was satisfied. In fact, she was impressed with their job and said if all contractors were as scrupulous as Fire & Ice she would be out of a job. :)

Great company the technician was VERY knowledgeable and helpful. Great customer service. I would recommend this company to everyone!

Arranged meeting at their convenience to quote job and manager did not show, did not call despite me calling office to find out what was going on.

Owner needs to train staff in responsiveness and customer service.
