STAY AWAY!! Terrible customer service

This is a bad company to do business with bottom line. This is my honest review. I never write reviews, but was compelled to help anyone else out there. Please take my advice, and go with another limo company. I recommend American Limos for the LA area. They saved us after Five Diamonds almost ruined our wedding. Ben and his staff at Five Diamonds are unprofessional in my opinion and I would never do business with them again. Ben wrote a response on here to my wife Tyler and not only lied, but did not even get my name correct after we were in contact several times over a year by phone and email. And my wedding was only 3 weeks ago! He refers to me as "John." I am so angry at this company, not just for ruining our reservation, but for Ben coming on to Yelp and lying to other customers. Well my name is not John it is Bryan and this is the honest truth.
I called Ben and confirmed a 26 passenger limo on October 18th, 2011, almost one year before my wedding on Sept. 29th 2012. I had a reservation number and everything. (I have all email correspondence and proof). I gave him my credit card information for the $100 deposit and was told everything is set. I had a bad feeling just by talking to Ben on the phone, so I called periodically throughout the year just to be safe. I called one month before the wedding date, and was told everything is ok. When I called Ben on 9/25/12 (yes, I had to call, he did not even call me to confirm my reservation this close to the wedding date or to tell me about this problem, I had to call him to find out) he informed me that one of his staff members double booked our limo a few weeks ago. They gave the limo to a birthday group. Instead of rescheduling the birthday group, who booked only a few weeks in advance, Ben tried to put me in a smaller limo (only 20 passenger limo). I told Ben our wedding group was too big to fit in a 20 passenger limo (which was not even as nice as the 26 passenger in my opinion) and we needed the 26. Ben tried to convince the other party to switch limos but when they refused he offered me a measly $100 bucks off, but with the smaller limo instead. I told Ben no that doesn't work. He said "What do you want me to do?" and I responded " tell the other party you made a mistake and let us have the limo that we booked a year in advance." It blows my mind that a modern day business man would not give the limo to a wedding party who booked 1 year in advance but instead gives the limo to a birthday group that booked only a few weeks in advance. Then after all of this Ben has the nerve to come on here, lie, and tell us to take an honest review down. No.

In response to what Ben wrote to my wife's review: 1) I never thanked you. Ever. 2) You already promised that gratuity was included in our price 3) I informed you I needed 26 passengers on my very first phone call, not a call back 4) You never mentioned anything about the bride's dress, ever. You said you could only offer a 20 passenger instead, that's all you said. 5) I didn't cancel my reservation, you did when you gave our limo away! You broke our agreement and then tried to pawn off a smaller limo to us (are you serious Ben?) you have some nerve saying you could charge a cancel fee. 6) My review and my wife's review is 100% accurate. I would stake my name and my reputation on every word. Thank you.
