We have had dinner at Fratello's in Laguna Niguel twice now, and have been dissappointed both times. My wife had the calm linguini both times which she liked, however I wasn't so lucky. The first time I had lasagna. When it was delivered, the sauce was hot, but the inside of the lasagna was cool. It obviously had been in the refrigerator and wasn't heated up enough in the oven before it was served. Bummer. The second time, I ordered a large thick crust pizza, sausage and mushroom. When it was delivered, it was served on a large pizza tray but was a rectangle pizza cut in 8 squared. The sausage was hard to find on the pizza. They apparently took Itelian sausage and sliced it very thinly and spread it around the pizza. You could hardly find the sausage on the pizza. Of course, the waitress did not tell me that the thick crust only comes in one size. If I would have known that, I would have ordered the regular crust. Unfortunately, we will not be going to Fratello's in Laguna Niguel again.
I gave them 2 stars because my wife liked her clam linguini, but both of my dinners were very disappointing.

Been going here for years... The food is usually good, the service however is spotty at best. I recently tried to place an order to go and was put on hold for several minutes. I finally hung up and tried to call again. This time someone picked up the phone and immediately hung up. The same thing happened a few more times before I was able to call and successfully placed my order

When I arrived at the restaurant I found other customers had similar experiences. As I said above the food is good so I put up with the occasional poor service.
