The main reason I am writing this review is to warn anybody who is considering using G&R roofing that not only has there license been revoked for constant home improvement contract violations but I was completely unsatisfied with there workmanship as well as there lack of professionalism not to mention the fact that they tried to use cheaper less quality materials than they specified in contract and then had the nerve to scream at me when I brought it to there attention that I had noticed the wrong materials were being used. for example the contract I was given specified 1/2 o.s.b. board would be used to sheet the roof then they tried to use 7/16 which is thinner and costs less. Also the contract specified 30 lb. felt paper would be used on entire roof and they tried to get away with using 15lb. felt paper. As if that wasn't bad enough when the shingles were delivered they were a cheaper similar version of what they were supposed to be using, to sum it up G&R roofing is the shadiest and most dishonest contractor or should I say ex contractor that I have ever dealt with.If you are interested in seeing more about G&R's long list of complaints you can look them up at the Ca. state license boards website (www.ca.cslb.gov) and either punch in the company name or the owners name Gilbert Rivero
