For many, many years, while working and raising two children, I only did oil pieces having heard horror stories about watercolor. Upon the death of my husband, I converted the downstairs of my home to a gallery/studio and behold fell in love with watercolors. Colored pencil work is also my forte, having used over 17 different colors in one piece, and have been commissioned to do portaits in colored pencil and watercolor. I also have a propensity for florals in bright colors, preferably watercolor.
