Provided by YP.comI was experiencing a furnace issue, intermittently blowing out cold air, at the coldest time of the year (December) in Michigan. I called Good Neighbor because of a referral to help assist. A service technician came to conduct a routine cleaning and/or maintenance to the furnace, free of charge, but I was told that if the furnace continues to blow cold air intermittently again to contact them and Good Neighbor would replace a suspected part causing the potential issue. A couple of days later, frigid, below-zero temperatures hit our area, and my furnace began intermittently blowing cold air again on 01/07/2015. Again, I called between 8-10am that day, Good Neighbor to come assist. A service technician came at 6:30pm, after disassembling the furnace unit, they instructed me that the igniter switch was defective and needed to be replaced, leaving the furnace unit disassembled. The service technician instructed me that they had another technician to bring an igniter switch to replace after 8pm that same day. However, after waiting, until 10:30pm that evening, no technician showed up or called to inform us that we would not show up, ultimately leaving me and my family (3 young children) to sleep in a house with no heat in below zero temperatures. We called the company and left a voicemail that evening, and also sent an e-mail to the one supplied on the website, but to no avail, no response. I called the next day, and left a voicemail with the company again to inform them that I was calling another local HVAC company to finish the job. It wasn't until 8-9 am the next day that a technician showed up unannounced and replaced the igniter switch, yet charged us $145 to finish the job? However, after replacing the switch, the issue still persists, after attempting to call the company again on 01/08/2015 to leave a voicemail, the mailbox was full, so I sent another e-mail informing them of the issue of the furnace blowing cold air intermittently still existed. They had contacted me back later that day and said, it would cost an additional $335 to replace another part in the furnace. After this encounter with Good Neighbor and what I've been through, I will not recommend them to another customer, in fact, the $145 we were billed will be refuted for payment.

Provided by YPmobileI made an appointment and they failed to contact me on the day the appointment was scheduled and was a NO SHOW. Maybe he also has a policy of not serving the city of Detroit.
