WebsiteCarl Goss is a native of rural Philadelphia, MS and a 1965 graduate of Miss State University. He moved to Decatur in 1965 and worked as an electrical engineer for twelve years prior to starting Goss Electric Co, on April 1, 1976 in Decatur, AL. He opened the company doors with 2 employees and has since grown his business to employ approximately 300 people. Since 1976, Goss Electric has grown into one of the largest electrical contractors in the Tennessee Valley. Though the company has changes, our original values and objectives have not. We remain committed to: Quality Doing the right job at a competitive price. Training Keeping abreast of the latest materials and methods. Safety Electrical construction and power distribution to a program of total safety. These commitments apply to all areas of our work: electrical construction, industrial controls, control panels, power distribution, power correction, PLC Programming, Hi-Voltage, Residential electric, electrical service, and voice & data.
