Unfortunately I cannot mark two complaint categories because if I could I would also mark customer service - which was poor this last discussion in April 2014. I was a customer starting April 2013 when we found ants in many places throughout our newly purchased home. I like others who have complained used a coupon and then signed a yearly contract with quarterly maintenance for a set fee and within the quarter you can have 1 free service come out to your house to retreat problem areas. I was never guaranteed that all the ants would go away in a specific timeframe but I was told multiple times that the product and way that the employees treat your home SHOULD get rid of the ants and keep them from coming into the house. Between each treatment I HAD to call and have someone come out for the free service because the ants never fully went away. The previous manager to this new lady Carly was pretty great, he was always sympathetic and cared that the ants were in my daugthers room and were not going away throughout the house. He came out personally and finally got rid completely of one of the colonies of ants living under our cabinets in the kitchen - he was a great manager and cared about clients. The newer manager who I assume is the one responding to the complaint from March 27th 2014 is absurd. She did not raise her voice and was not particularly rude to me when I called to finally cancel the service and tell her that their products and methods just plain do not work. To my surprise she just said "okay" to me and my husband when we wanted to cancel. She didn't even care to offer a better product or anything. It was ridiculous to me that a manager was just fine with losing customers instead of trying to actually fix the problem that their company is supposed to be able to do. I feel bad for the owner of this franchise because this manager is going to steer clients away from the business and lose them money. She even said "oh it looks like we have done our best so maybe our service isn't good for you anymore". WOW! I mean I totally agree that the product doesn't work or atleast the application but she literally agreed with me - so on a manager's recommendation, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. FYI - the employees that came out to do the work were always courteous and I do think they tried to help, it was the product and the new manager that are terrible.



Your Desired Resolution:

Nothing - I just want other pest control clients to understand this product unfortunately does not work and that the owner of the business to know that his/her new manager, Carly, is losing him/her money and driving clients away. The previous manager, I believe it was Eric (Aaron maybe, I know names will be taken out but I wanted to let BBB know), was much much better and actually kept me as a client for a whole year and brought money to the company with how great he was because I thought about cancelling every time I had a service done at my house that once again was not successful. Money is not the issue accept for I paid for something that ultimately did not work.

I would never use this company again

I had a treatment done for a mouse problem at one of my rentals. 3 weeks later I called to let them know the mice were still there. They refused to go back out there unless I paid them an other couple hundred dollars because I chose the one time treatment. I can understand if they got rid of the pests the first time and then I needed to repay for another treatment but they never fixed the problem in the first place!!! I called Orkin. I wish I had done that the first time. For $120.00 they are going to go out there tomorrow and then again in 30 days to make sure all is taken care of. I paid this company $99.00 and they didn't fix my problem at all. DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY.

bedbugs be gone

I was getting the tell tale bites at night. Searched for bedbugs, but no sign. Called this environmental pest control for help as I was beside myself. A nice man came and looked over the bed and said there was no sign of bed bugs and it must be mites. Spent $169.00 to spray baseboards and crevices. Well, that didn't help. So called them again for help. This time he found the bugs in a box of shoes under my bed.Spent another $100 for spraying my bedroom and purchasing a $80.00 bed cover. I was told it was not bedbugs the first visit and now my sister who spent the night is worried she has them because we weren't as careful based on his review of the situation. Granted these awful bugs are hard to spot, My annoyance now is that I thought I was paying for a professional and thorough investigation of my problem the first time where the boxes of shoes under my bed were never looked at...I was there the whole time and he only barely looked at the top of the box. The companies explanation for this was they don't have time to look everywhere! I didn't expect them to go over the whole house with a magnifying glass, but certainly the small area around my bed where I was getting bitten should have been examined more carefully. They do come out to your house quickly. I just hope this latest spraying helps.

Peace of mind!

I was thrilled with their service! The price was very reasonable and the technician was great! I saw a mouse the other day and needed someone to come out as soon as possible. They were able to fit me right in. I have not seen a mouse since! It was great because it was safe for my puppy and now i can finally have some peace of mind knowing that it is taken care of.

No more mouse in my house

Hey, these guys came out and put something in my crawlspace and I haven't seen a mouse since. They also took care of the odor problem. Our house smelled like a dead rodent and my wife was ready to check into the motel. The in-laws were on there way into town and if that isn't stressful enough, we started seeing mice. The Green Choice Tech said the colder weather was driving them in. Any-hoo, ever since they came I haven't seen a mouse, and it smells like a fresh spring morning. I wish everthing had gone as well with the in laws as it did with this pest control company. Do they have in-law control companies somewhere?

Wonderful job!

I had one of their techs come out and they did a great job! I have used many carpet cleaning companies in the past that have left soapy residue and marks everywhere, but Earth Care didn't and it only took an hour and a half to dry! I recremand this company to everyone I know that needs their carpets cleaned!

I will recommend these guys to everyone!!

They got my rust stains, and "puppy stains" out of my carpet. It was left fluffy when they were done and dry very quickly. The technician was so nice and courteous; he didnt try to sell me all this extra stuff or raise my price once he came out.

I have had so many pest companies at my home to try and get rid of my rodents. Everyone wants to charge me through the roof and they still cant get rid of them. After getting multiple quotes, Green Choice was the best price and it came with the most complete service package (not just spot treatment or one time treatment just to lure me in). The technciian that came out from Green Choice Pest Control did a thorough inspection, was able to get rid of the rodents living in and around my home and they sealed them out from being able to get into my crawl space and home and the rodents have not been back.
