I wish I could leave no stars. DO NOT use this company!!!



Bought the groupon and 20 minutes before my appointment he called and said that he would need $65 more to clean my carpet even though he had not even seen my carpet yet. I reminded him I had the groupon and it covered three rooms & hallway up to 300 square feet and the area I wanted him to clean was covered by that. His response was that pets make carpet worse then what the groupon covers. I told him we do not have pets. So he says kids then. He then proceeded to tell me that he had to charge more to break even, so it would be at least $50 more. I told him I wanted to cancel the appointment, so he blamed it on my area, but my area is covered per their site. I keep telling him that I would just prefer to cancel and he keeps making up excuses as to why there will be an added charge. He then says it would be $25 more because my carpets have not been cleaned in a year. Again, I tell him I prefer to just cancel. He gets hostile with me and says he will come clean the carpets to show me how good of a job he does so I will pay him to do the rest of my house. I decline the offer and say I want to cancel, thank you and hang up. Really wish I had read these reviews here and on yahoo before buying the groupon. I called groupon for a refund. I explained that with his hostile attitude he is not allowed in my home. Within an hour groupon processed a full refund to my groupon account, but I am still left with carpets that are not cleaned despite already moving all of the furniture out of the room. Guess I will be renting a rug doctor tonight :o(

Terrible experience..



I purchased a groupon for 3 room cleaning + 1 hallway (up to 300sq ft per room), and it took 2 months to get an "appointment" for cleaning. I phoned numerous times to no avail as no one answered the telephone. Finally I made an appt and the man from Green home services came to my house. He arrived and did not put booties to cover his dirty shoes, and he smelled like a cloud of cigarette smoke. He walked in and I showed him my two rooms I wanted cleaned (Groupon was for 3), and he stated he could not do the job. He stated he needed more money than what I paid for my groupon to "cover his costs".



He left and performed no work, and stated I needed to call groupon for a refund. The man from Green Home Services was unshaven, unkept, stinky, and worst of all he tried to up-sell me for more money from me at the time of service.



DO NOT use this company!! Green Homes Services was very unprofessional and I would not recommend them to anyone. Would not give them even one star.

I'm super frustrated with Green Home Services. I purchased 2 of their Groupons. It was an amazing deal but when I called to schedule an appointment their mailbox was full. So I filled out one of their requests and got a call back two days later. After making an appointment they told me they don't service my area and he would have to ask someone else. I read the fine lines before paying and they cover service areas within 25 miles of Sacramento. I am within 25 miles! After no return phone call and a few days I began calling again and the person who answered told me he forgot to ask. I started emailing, asking for a manager or owner to contact me within 24 hours. I am still waiting and no one has. I tried calling again and they told me I'm not within 25 miles of the Arden area which is where there business is. They did not address 25 miles of a certain location. This is FALSE ADVERTISING and I've paid for two cleanings that they now are choosing to ignore. I'm not the type of person to bad mouth anothers reputation, but I'm desperate to get a reponse from them. If you're looking to hire a reputible company, my opinion is THEY MUST NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AND ARE ONLY CONCERNED WITH PUTTING MONEY IN THEIR POCKETS. I will reconsider my opinion is they decide to make contact or refund my money.

I have been having difficulty finding a reliable carpet cleaner which did not overcharge or try to scam me out my money since I moved to Sacramento from Los Angeles. I came across Green Home online a couple months ago and since then I have used them twice, once for each of my two locations. I never write reviews but just felt compelled to write about the service I received. The customer care people were very friendly and they made sure that I was happy with the price. They have my service for whenever I need my carpet cleaned.

Green Home Services is a great company! when I called them they scheduled an interview right away, came on time, did the work really really well and made my house look sprakly clean!

They also care about the community and regulary donate to causes in our area, very community and green-conscious people!

5 Starts FOR SURE!!!!!

Last week I used this company, and I was very surprised! The carpets look totally clean! you know usually carpet cleaners leave stains, and over charge? Well this company was absolutely superb! Their service was excellent, professional, and they care about the environment too! Green Home Carpet Cleaning all the way! Would highly recommend them to anyone in the area.
