Why do some people choose to work in the customer service industry when they have no intention on helping others? i do not know. I got into an accident where no one was hurt, but it was very scary nonetheless. These guys intentionally tried to have me tow my car to their shop instead of my home shop (1.5 hours away) even after I insisted that was my best option. I asked multiple times for it to be towed home and he just told me that they couldn't do that. Ended up costing me an extra $200 to have my car towed to their shop and then stay there overnight ($100 for the "2" days, 10pm to 1 pm the next day, $50 gate fee and another $50 for the actually towing itself), PLUS the hassle of dealing with the guy that works there who was a complete jerk. After talking to AAA, i found out that they could have towed my car home, despite what H&S told me. I paid another $400 just to get my car the heck out of there and to a shop i knew and trusted.

Luckily some good samaritans were able to drive me home and my car eventually made it back safely. Money comes and goes, but going through such a traumatic experience and then having people try to rip you off and kick you while you're down is just completely ridiculous. Get out of the business if you're not happy and have no care for others. Towing businesses wouldn't have such bad reputations if you would think about the feelings of others instead of trying to put more money in your pocket.
