Okay so I am posting this to clear a few things up for y'all researching maternity homes! I lived in the Hannah house when the previous commenter did and she choose to not partake in this program and disappeared for a week while her baby was in NICU to go 3 hours away. She also was accepted before me and kept flaking out and didnt show up until 3 months later. Then had her baby a week after that. She didnt give anyone time to help her this is a self help home and you can't expect yo feel better over night it takes time and effort. The staff here will meet you with the effort you put in. The Hannah center is an amazing place and they saved my life along with my daughters. They helped me relocated provided me with amazing classes and services to get everything I needed for my little girl they supported and helped me grow in my faith with god and expand my roots into Bloomington they got me into councling and all sorts of groups and programs to make being a single mom a little easier. They helped with my postpartum depression and provided tons of support. This home and program Is like any self help place it is what you make it if you want to get better and you want to raise your baby you can if you don't then you don't but these ladies have saved and will continue to save many lives time and time again
