HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE! We decided to use Mike based on the great reviews that we read. It turned out to be a mistake. We needed a section of our dining room floor replaced due to termite damage. The stain did not match the existing floor, the wood he put down is not even level and now it seems our floor has more wood putty in it than actual wood. A piece of the flooring should have been completely replaced due to damage after pulling up the floor, Mike decided to just fill that section of the floor with wood putty instead of replacing it. I understand that matching an existing floor can be challenging but it is the vendor’s responsibility to communicate that to the customer. If Mike would have come to us and communicated that it was going to be difficult to match the floor then we would have decided to go a different route instead of just replacing a section of the floor. But you don’t just come out to a customer’s home, throw together a job and then run out saying “Sorry that was the best I could do”. That was the answer we got when we called to communicate that we were not satisfied with the look of the floor. He refused to come out and even try to fix the floor to our satisfaction. I would never use this vendor again you are better off replacing the floor yourself!!
