I've been in the High Desert for about 30 yrs and done business with Hemme on a number of occasions. Same ownership all these years and that says something...quality service. You can't stay in business for 50 years unless you are doing something right. Thanks for your many years of being there.

Always best prices. Always helpful in locating the products I need even if they are not in stock. Hay loading is very fast and the workers are very respectful of my vehicle

Hemme carry a good choice of hay and feed products. Modest cat and dog products. Limited horse tack and other equine supplies. They carry very limited inventory considering Lancaster is a very small town and there are limited feed and tack supply stores in the area. It's sometimes difficult to get what you want and you have to order things as it seems the owner is having a cash crunch and wants to minimize his inventory.



Many items don't have prices on them so seems they are very slack in how they price and inventory their merchandise.



Rob is very nice and helpful but some of the other ladies seem lazy and unmotivated. Seems they are just clocking time, sitting and chatting behind the counter but then Palmdale has a very limited work pool of employee's with only High School Diploma's, if that, and certainly no career aspirations.



Prices are a bit higher than other feed stores in the area.



Unless you need it immediately, best to buy elsewhere or on line. For feed I use Fox Feed in Acton as their prices are better.

Need help in customer service. It was my first time going to this store and the workers just pass right by you and don't even acknowledge your there. When a customer is waiting to ask a question, they should at least say "I'll be right with you". But I was completely ignored. I finally asked if they had the things I needed and they didn't even know what I was talking about. They were NOT helpful at all! I will not be going back to them.
