This book explans how I have possession of the one and only family heirloom of Nathan Bedford Forrest and Mary Montgomery, The Brooch. Its a slave story based upon true facts handed down throught the family line. The brooch is approximately one hundred and sixty-five years old. Priceless, I have established "Provendence and there is still more to tell.

It’s a 14k Gold, Circa (Oval) Setting, Reversible (2-sided) Brooch containing the picture of General Nathan Bedford Forrest and his beloved wife Mary Ann Montgomery. Please note that Mary Ann Montgomery is wearing the brooch on her neck tie. Approx. 2 ¼”H and 1 7/8”W. (never opened to verify, if
