HMC towed my daughter's vehicle after an accident. The next day she contacted the owner to gather her belongings. He first said she would need her title as proof of ownership and no other document would suffice. Then, upon arrival, he told her she had to either sign over her title to him or give him $472 to get her phone and wallet from her vehicle. This was the cost for towing and recovery. She refused to sign over her title and called the police. He promptly left before they could get there. He lied to her about her title as proof of ownership in an effort to trick her into signing her car over to him for a tow and 2 days storage. He must really think she's gullible. How many others has he deceived?
