This company doesn't have the right equipment to jumpstart a semi(bigrig). they only have car cables. They don't have the heavy duty cable to be able to jumpstart your truck. They were very pleasant and gave me my money back for the charge. They are very honest people. They didn't have to give me my money back. They knew it was the right thing to do. I'm giving them a 2 star because they came out and they knew that they didn't have the right equipment. :)

Often times instead of paying out of pocket expenses to have your vehicle taken to a body shop, tow companies will take it to their lot until the next day or if it's the weekend the following Monday and the body shop will pay them and add it to your insurance bill. Some, many, body shops have fences around their lots that the tow trucks don't have access to and won't leave your vehicle out along side the road for obvious reasons. In addition, if you go to the hospital in an ambulance and tell someone other than the tow truck driver where you want your vehicle taken, the message doesn't always get delivered. Hope that clears up some of the complaints about Holt & Mason Towing....the drivers wouldn't go against your request without good reason or cause.

I drive a scrap metal hauling truck that either gets stuck runs out of diesel or needs a jump start once or twice a year and holt mason towing and their extremely road hazzard conscious staff are always very courteous to help in any way they can without charing a heck of alot more for things i need that are unusual like getting diesel from a far away station,patience in battery connectivity issues,winching trucks out of mud,towing and flatbed service they have assisted in providing low cost entertainment at the ingham county fair demo derby that i watch every year.I am quite sure that you won't get one of those red eyed tired guys that can't find you or causes related problems because all of mine seemed really well rested. really responsible compared to previous service providers i used(many).

I was in an accident on a Friday afternoon. I asked the driver to take my car to a specific body shop and they did not. My vehicle sat at their all weekend. I had a bill for storage for 4 day that I should have never had to pay.



I will never let them tow my car again. If they would have done as I asked it would have saved me almost 100$.



Don't Trust them

Friday night after work, September 19, 2008. It was during a high peak traffic time, about 6:30. I was stranded at the entrance ramp off Cedar onto East I-96. I called AAA and they informed me that they would send Holt & Mason Towing out as soon as possible. The dispatcher said something about College Rd. which I should have more strongly corrected her on! Anyway, the driver, I believe his name was Bill, called repeatedly because I had my cell phone ringer turned off (another issue on my part that I should have corrected!) He was still there within 30 minutes and promptly and professionally loaded my vehicle.



It was a pleasure listening to someone talk so respectfully of his employer and the fact that they really emphasis safety on the job.



I would highly recommend them for any towing needs!
