I ordered a bunk bed for my kids scheduled to ship on 8/11. I checked for a week to see if it shipped and hear nothing. Finally, a week after it was supposed to have shipped, I received an email saying it would not be shipping until 9/18 (over 5 weeks late!). I called to cancel and they offered me a discount on the bed. I told them my children could not sleep on the floor and that I wanted a refund. They then offered me a credit toward anything else. I said I didn't want anything else, I wanted a refund, I now needed to go and buy the furniture locally. I asked for a confirmation number for the cancellation and when it would be credited back to my acount and they said that it would be a few days before they could give me that information or credit the acount.



The next day, I bought and picked up a new bunk bed and assembled it in my home. The day after that, I received an email stating that my order had now shipped (the one that was supposed to take at least another month) and that my order could not be cancelled.



This is insane. I will be refusing shipment. They are saying that the order will take 7-10 business days, but this is just a ploy to keep me waiting to see if it will ever arrive. What they didn't expect is that I would just go out and purchase something else so quickly.



They don't want to let the money go.



Do not trust this vendor at any cost!!!!

I love this store when it has clearances- especially on their rugs. I have gotten some great deals :) Good quality products.

A lot of other online etailers have free shipping. This place charges hundreds to ship a vanity.

I called in one day, and I was asking to speak to the owner...the employee was really rude..I do not recommend this furniture store. for the lack of customer service..You should always be nice an courteous to everyone no matter who they are.

Purchased Craftsman bench with wicker baskets-sturdy, nicely finished, good directions for assembly, received in under a week. I would definitely recommend purchasing from Home Decorators Collection.
