Installed my ac and furnace about a year ago. Did an excellent job for a reasonable price. No complaints or issues.

Called last night and made an appointment for the following morning. I was told up front that they charge $100 for the visit but that it would go towards the bill if I hire them. That's a standard practice and I have no issue with that. The tech showed up and diagnosed a bad blower and that the coils in the furnace were frozen. We agreed that he would leave while the coils thawed and that he would return later in the day after he went to his other calls. When he returned in the evening, I asked him to get me a quote on a new furnace, a/c unit and water heater. He stepped out, made a call and came back in. Instead of giving me the quote, he told me that he had to charge me $200 because he made 2 visits. I stated that it was only one visit and reminded him that I was the one that suggested that he leave instead of waiting around for the coils to thaw. Of course, he didn't mention at the time that there would be 2 charges if he left and came back. I had not been told that when I made the appointment. He was here for about 35 minutes in the morning and 45 minutes in the evening, so 80 minutes total. He said that the $100 visit had a 60 minute limit. So no repair, no quote and I'm out $200. These guys are rip-off artists. Also, based on the informal pricing that the tech was giving me, their pricing seems higher than most of the competition. You should avoid Humble.

My furnace wasn't working. I called for a service call and when the tech. arrived he figured out that the problem was a dirty flame sensor. He was able to clean the part and then he cleaned my whole furnace and only charged me for a clean and check, which is cheaper than a service call.

Humble Heating replaced my furnace and a/c unit. They were fast & thorough. They laid rugs down in the traffic areas and cleaned up completely! All this on top of getting a good price on a Lennox unit!
