Above and Beyond

Our need for caregiving services emerged very quickly, and I was not prepared for the challenge. I live more than 3,000 miles away, and I knew of no one in the caregiving business. I did not have time for a lengthy search, so I did a few quick background checks and hired the services of a very large agency with offices throughout the United States. My dad did not like the caregiver from the start, but I figured he might not have liked anyone at that point, as he was understandably resistant to losing his independence. As time went on, however, I, too, became dissatisfied with the care my dad was getting, and then, by sheer fortune, I happened upon In Home Care & More, Inc. We began working with In Home Care & More on a part-time, daily basis in 2004, and now, as a result of illness and inevitable decline, my dad has 24-hour care in the home. Each of his caregivers adds something unique and of value to his life, and they genuinely adore him. It is obvious by the way they interact. Cathy Osborne, the owner of In Home Care & More, and her assistant, Tammy Gigele, go to great lengths to preserve the integrity of the company, and their efforts are evident. The caregivers give 110%, and some of that is due to their management style. Most of it, though, is because the caregivers love what they do, take pride in their work, and go the extra yard to make sure their patients are getting the best of care. In Home Care & More does almost everything for my dad. They even help me maintain his home by letting me know when repairs are needed. They shop for groceries and medical supplies, pick up medications, and do all of the legwork required to keep things running smoothly. Before my dad lost his ability to ambulate or move freely, he and his caregivers took daily walks, and they often went for drives to the beach and elsewhere. Sometimes, the caregivers even took him out for surprise dinners. None of this was orchestrated by either me or the agency, and none of it was required. The companionship offered by the caregivers is something they volunteered on their own. Our family physician is very pleased with the care my dad is getting, and I have often said I do not think my dad would be alive today if it were not for In Home Care & More. They are unequivocally the best of the best, and I would give them ten stars if I could.

I have had In Home Care and Mo...

I have had In Home Care and More, Inc from time to time care for my mother who lives alone thirty miles away from me when I could not. From checking in on her, grocery shopping, driving her to the hair salon and house chores. They have been very professional, courtious, and at times gone above and beyond their call of duty.

Would highly recomend them.
