First class service, quick response, cost efficient and would highly recommend! They did a wonderful job in fixing my pipe, cleaned up, and were very professional. Their estimate was 1/3 of the what I had received from Roto-Rooter and they went above and beyond.

I received a card in the mail offering free camera inspections as the company was offering "free camera inspections of sewer lines in (my) area" due to a large-scale road project. I was happy to see this offer as I was likely in need of sewer replacement having to have my main line cleared two years ago of what I suspected to be roots.

Upon calling I was greeted by Joe himself, who sounded irritated throughout the conversation, complaining of having to keep track of all the houses that he's had to visit in my area. However, he was willing to schedule a time with me for an inspection. Settling on a time, however, was difficult as well; when he asked what time I was available I mentioned that I'm typically available late afternoon/early evening. I was rudely cut off with an abrasive "No, I don't do evenings" and he immediately began to grumble under his breath before asking what time I get home. I stated about 3:30 PM and again was cut off with "Fine. 4 PM. Thank you".

The following day I arrived home at 3:45 PM and was pleasantly surprised to find a Joe's Sewer truck already at my address. A gentleman came to the door shortly after I walked into my home and introduced himself politely enough. He then asked where the main access was and I pointed to the hatch to my crawl space. He immediately became visibly annoyed, but regardless looked into the crawl space; however, during the time he continuously muttered "not doing it" and "not for a free service, nope". After briefly looking into the crawl space, he simply stated, "Look, as a free service, I'm not doing this. Sorry." and walked out.

I can understand that some aspects of his job can be challenging; what I can't understand is the continuous rude attitude and overall poor customer service, not to mention the immediate dismissal of my service request without an honest attempt at addressing it. As such, I cannot recommend Joe's Sewer Service; it was a thoroughly disappointing experience from beginning to end.

Beware the tactics of this company. I obtained a phone quotation of $125-140 for a drain blockage that I clearly indicated was beyond the 100 foot reach of the first plumber's equipment. Joe's Sewer Service arrived, had their power snake equipment in the line and then refused to honor the quotation saying their employee didn't have the right to quote that price when they needed to add an extension. They required $300 or they would leave and still charge the $95 service call. I spoke with Joe about the shabby service and he said it was his right to charge what he wanted and there would be no discussing this matter. They charge $100 over the other companies I later called and do not take precautions against the sewer water dripping off their equipment. They opened my sewer line but inherited one unhappy customer in the process. Buyer beware!!!
