Hard won lessons
Have changes from written contract accounted for in print as a revised contract. Ensure every item on receipt is accounted for in actual job. No reason to accept oral agreements; contracting job is a paid business transaction that should be documented, not a gentleman's agreement. Whether the job is the installation of a bay window, etc, it could involve parts that come with a limited manufacturer's warranty. Invite rep from the manufacturer to inspect the job as soon as it is completed, documenting the visit, obtain confirmation from the official that the installation meets their standards. If they identify an apparent discrepancy that may contradict their warranty, immediately address this concern with the contractor. In court, the judge may put more weight on the contractor's presumably experienced word then any argument a layman can compile. That is why you want everything in the written contract/ receipt to accurately reflect the actual completed job.

I am very surprised to read the reviews regarding John Brady. I asked him about this, he told me the true facts, like the old saying goes,(There's always two side of the story). I had John do work on my house, siding, Windows and roof. I was so impressed with the quality of work he did. I have recommended John to family, friends and neighbors. All agree what a professional he is, and how he takes pride in his work. Thanks John, for all your wonderful work!

HorRible experience. Bad contractor who is incompetent with details. Having been in the building trades I have a good idea about the details. John will promise u the world then leave before the Job is even done with most of your money and a job which needs to be redone (ripped apart and do it over!!!!). I do not think John even knows what drip edge is! He pit none on my roof which voids the whole warranty!

HORRIBLE EXPIERINCE. I HAVE BEEN FLEECED BY A MAN WHO IS QUICK TO PROMISE U ALL THAT YOU ASK FOR BUT COULD NOT EVEN FINISH MY JOB. HAD TO RIP HALF OF IT DOWN. ROOFING, SIDING, METAL JOB. SIDING STARTING TO BUCKLE AFTER NOT EVEN A MONTH. HE FORGOT TO PUT DRIP EDGE ON THE ROOF WHICH ACTUALLY VOIDS THE LIFETIME WARRANTY OR ANY WARRANTY! CANT BELIEVE THIS GUY BEEN DOING THIS WORK SO LONG AND HE SO IRRESPONSBLE AND ALMOST CLUELESS ABOUT DETAILS. HE SUBBED ROOF SHINGLE WORK OUT AND THEY NEGLECTED TO REPLACE ROTTEN PLYWOOD, SO THEY THEN HAD TO RIP IT OFF AND REDO IT AND THEN STILL LEFT ROTTON PLYWOOD ON THE HOUSE. DONT TAKE THE CHANCE WITH THIS ONE!!!
