The original Gary; Ken, and Wendy could not be nicer or more helpful and they all are very knowledgeable. Gary serviced my ancient Pfaff a couple years ago. This year I decided I wanted to try a serger. I bought an older one; when I didn't like that, they took it back and resold it (They charge just 20% when it's is sold) I bought a new one; still didn't like it - too difficult for e to thread so returned that one. The Juki MO1000 Serger is the one for me - it basically threads itself and of course, there are lessons included. I love this machine and glad I splurged. Stop in and meet them. They will stop work for a cookie :o)

Vern, Johnsons Sewing Center, provides amazing service. His insight into the inner workings of even the most complex machine has allowed him to diagnose, adjust, repair, and bring my machine back to better-than-new. Although there are many dealers in the Valley, I am so thankful that I bought my longarm from Johnsons.

forty year old Kenmore sewing machine. Cost 60 dollars with new LED light. Just serviced it and it works great. Thought it would need a new motor, they said no way, just needed cleaning and adjustments. Appreciate their honesty and skills.

I went in twice so far, first time he fixed my needle threader and if you don't have that working, things can get stressful,I am really impressed with there knowledge, Ken fixed the needle threader and I trusted his judgement, that is why I went back.I live in Boise, but it was worth the drive to have it done right. He is also checked my machine over, they all know they trade. Thanks, Julie Litz

Vern and Theresa are the most knowledgeable, helpful people in the sewing world in Idaho, and maybe the entire U.S.! Great service, great people!

Johnson's Sewing Center was recommended to me by a friend. So, when I took a sewing machine into them last month I threw my embroidery machine in as an after thought. I had little hope that it could be fixed for a reasonable price because another place had quoted me $800. Johnson's called the very next day telling me that the machine was up and running and needed only a $52.00 part. Needless to say, I was thrilled. I was able to pick both machines up the following day, which amazed me as I have had to leave my machines at other places for a week or more while they serviced them. I am now a loyal customer of Johnson's Sewing Center and will send all my friends there as well.

I have not been able to get the PedBasic program to work for years. I called for suggestions and was told what to try and if it did not work to take my computer and disks to them and Theresa would help. What an unbelievable experience. She was more than willing to help and even skipped her lunch to help me get the program running. When I asked if I could pay her something, she indicated there was no charge. Pleasant to work with a business who really cares and supports their products. If you need something for sewing needs, you will not go wrong in calling Johnson's.

I have not used my Necchi in years so I took it into Johnson"s sewing center for a cleanup and oiling job. They did a topnotch job at such a reasonable price! Then when I was tryingto put it back into the cabinet I dropped the machine! I finallygot it back in the cabinet and of course I couldn't get it to work.I had to confess what I had done and they came out to the house, found the problem, moved the cabinet and machineto a new location and no charge!! I could not believe it! It is hard to believe there are still such nice people out there!!The best service you will find is a Johnson's Sewing Center. Plus the pricing is fantastic!!!

I had a sewing machine and a serger that had to be fixed. I could not bring them into the store because of my arthritis in my thumbs. Vern said ,oh! don't,t worry I can pick them up. He not only picked them up but when he repaired them he brought them back. The nicest business people I have meet. I always thought that service was a thing of the past, not anymore. Thank You, Nadine Baker

Johnson's Sewing Center is an absolutely wonderful place to go. The staff is knowledgeable about all varieties of machines and their accessories. I have gone in there many times in a panic because my Janome Sewing Machine decides to stop working in the middle of a project with a deadline and every time, I am given a fast turn around to get my project back on track. I HIGHLY recommend this shop in Nampa, Idaho!

I am an avid sewer. My 4 year old Bernina 440 QE died last week. Took it to Johnson Sewing Center. Vern is a certified Bernina mechanic. He not only had my machine ready in record time (5 days!) but it runs better than the day I bought it! Thank you Johnson's!

My old Husqvarna Viking was not able to even sew a straight stitch! My friend in Parma advised me to bring my Viking over on a visit from Rockport, WA to have Vern fix it. She said he was a wizard, took about 3 days, and did not charge much. After checking locally (Seattle, Mt. Vernon, etc.) and finding charges of over $160! and the loss of my machine for two weeks, I drove over (10 hours) with my machine to get it fixed. Benefit: a fun visit with my friend!Teresa (Vern's wife) took the Viking in, was very friendly, and assured a fast recovery. The next day Vern called to tell us the machine was ready! I would have been happy with two or three days! Vern also advised me of the need for lubrication with this particular model and showed me what to do.I cannot tell you how happy I am to have my old dressmaker friend ready for the quilting projects that are stacked up at home!Thank you Teresa and Vern!Patrice A

Needed HELP with my sewing machine. An older Kenmore sewing machine was given to me. I could not tell from the manual or anything I researched on-line exactly how to thread the top thread. Confusing pictures, directions, etc. I'm fairly new to Nampa so I went on-line to research repair shops. When I came across Johnson's and read all the reviews (all with 5 stars) , I decided that was the place to call. Come on in! I was in and out of the store in 10 minutes....thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Great service in getting my sewing machine going again. Found them on the internet, and decided to take my machine to them. Honestly, it runs better than it has in a long time, even better than when it was returned from another repair store the last time around. Would highly recommend them. Again, great service done in a timely manner.
