I called Honda roadside assistance for a flat tire. They sent out a junior towing. When the guy arrived he told me that I could drive my car with a nail in it to get it changed. Why would I drive my car with a nail in the tire to get stuck on the side of the road ? He then proceeds to change the tire and then asked for my drivers license and my membership card to verify my identity. I lost my drivers license the previous night and my membership card was not needed because I AM A HONDA ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE MEMBER NOT AAA. He then tries to grab my keys out of my hand to get my mileage which was already provided as well. I showed him my miles and he stood over me even after I told him the mileage several times. He insisted on me showing my DL even though I offered a piece of mail with my address and name. I proceeded to go back in my house and he sat outside for another 15 minutes until I called Honda back and asked them to tell him to leave. He treated me like this because I’m a black woman living in a established neighborhood with a brand new vehicle. He was incredibly rude from the time we spoke on the phone till he left. It is despicable to have that type of person working for your business. I hope no one else of color is treated this way by one of your employees.
