Ken was awesome! We had a breaker that suddenly started tripping and couldn't figure out why. Called Ken and he came out not only on time but a bit early and got right to work. He had to break the circuit down to each individual load and it took a long time but he stuck with it and fixed it. Turned out to be a nick in the wire for light fixture due to it being turned while cleankng. Very very hard to find and he fixed it. Ken is super friends and gave us great service at a very reasonable price. He is the guy you wished all repair people were.

Ken was great. He responded to our call quickly and assessed our situation. He not only did great electrical work, his expertise and experience saved a couple of amateur remodelers from making some terrible mistakes. He spent a few days on the work and it was a pleasure to have in our home. I recommend him to anyone that would like a positive experience with their electrician.

Ken was prompt, very knowledgeable and a nice. I would heartily reccomend him, and will use him again without hesitation.

When I called Ken he was very professional and tried to troubleshoot what was going on over the phone. Scheduling an appointment with him was a breeze and he showed up on time. He was very informative and did a great job explaining everything in a way that I would understand. His prices are fair, very personable, and he was in and out in a timely fashion. I would DEFINITELY recommend Ken to any of my friends and family in need of an electrician and I plan on calling him for any of my electrical needs.

I called this company to get an estimate over the phone, which I was not able to obtain. I was on the phone with them for only a couple of minutes because right off the bat the electrician was very condescending and disrespectful. He implied that he knows it all and everybody else is wrong, and would not listen or acknowledge my questions. Very rude and disrespectful company to deal with. I took my business elsewhere.Update 05/22/13:This business claims they never spoke with me. Well, they seem to have several phone numbers where you can reach them. The number I called on 5/21/13 around noon was (505) 431-4487. The individual I spoke with was very condescending and disrespectful. If I call a company and get this type of service from ANY of their employees, I take my business elsewhere.

We have done business with Ken at K&J since June of 1997. He has replaced plugs, switches, all the lighting fixtures in the house, installed outdoor outlets, a complete new installation of a post light, brought the house up to 200 amp service as part of a very extensive kitchen, bath and laundry room remodel. Ken is willing to supply specialty products we want (such as Lutron switches, Kichler fixtures, Panasonic exhaust fans) at a very fair price. Ken is an incredibly honest, hard working, knowledgeable and above all, competent professional. We would never use anybody but Ken, as he is the best we have ever dealt with.

K&J Electric has provided service to me personally over the past 10-12 years....anything we needed. You can always depend on them to be there when they say they will and to give you the facts. For the past several years, I have referred K&J to clients (I am a realtor) and they have upgraded services in older UNM area homes, pig-tailed aluminum wiring to bring up to code and resolved smaller issues as well. I highly recommend them for their quality, dependability and fair prices.

I had no electricity to several areas of my home. called a couple of electricians and left messages to no avail. I called K&J Electric and they actually answered the phone.
